The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) consist of Detectives which are charged with investigating those cases initiated from other Divisions where additional expertise or resources are required to bring a resolution to the investigation. Additionally, CID is charged with the direct responsibility of investigating major crimes scenes, registering local sex offenders, juvenile cases and evidence processing.
