Athletic Field Rentals

Please note: Batting cages at Benbrook Ranch Park are reserved for Leander Little League Spring Baseball Season Mondays through Fridays (Open to the public as first come, first serve on Saturdays and Sundays) until the end of the season, May 31st.

Athletic field reservations must be placed at least 14 days prior to the desired date of use. Reservation may be completed by using the forms below.

Athletic fields are available for rent in 90-minute increments.

All field reservations are final. If Parks and Recreation determines that fields are inaccessible due to inclement weather or maintenance, reservation changes will be managed by Parks and Recreation. Rental fees must be paid in-full to confirm reservations.

Resident or Resident Organization is defined as living within Leander city limits. Organizations must show a city of Leander address on a valid certificate of insurance.

Non-Resident or Non-Resident Organization is defined as living outside of Leander city limits. Organizations must show a valid certificate of insurance.

Robin Bledsoe Park

Robin Bledsoe Park is home to the Gabriel and Jayne Serna Athletic Fields, which have lighted, synthetic grass divided into North and South multipurpose field areas with combined fence and irrigated landscape surroundings.

Entire Field

Resident fee: $125 per 90-minute rental period
Non-resident fee: $200 per 90-minute rental period
Field lights fee: $30 per 90-minute rental period

North or South Field

Resident fee per field: $65 per 90-minute rental period
Non-resident fee per field: $100 per 90-minute rental period
Field lights fee: $20 per 90-minute rental period

Middle Fields M1 or M2 (U12) 225 Feet by 141 Feet

Resident fee per field: $40 per 90-minute rental period
Non-resident fee per field: $75 per 90-minute rental period
Field lights fee: $30 per 90-minute rental period

North Fields N1, N2 or N3 (U10) 141 Feet by 90 Feet

Resident fee per field: $35 per 90-minute rental period
Non-resident fee per field: $65 per 90-minute rental period
Field lights fee: $20 per 90-minute rental period

South Fields S1, S2, S3 or S4 (U6) 90 Feet by 60 Feet

Resident fee per field: $25 per 90-minute rental period
Non-resident fee per field: $50 per 90-minute rental period
Field lights fee: $20 per 90-minute rental period

Field Striping

Striping fee: $25 per hour. Striping in preparation for tournaments or other competitive games must be approved and managed by Parks and Recreation.

Benbrook Ranch Park

Benbrook Ranch Park contains four lighted and irrigated natural grass baseball fields equipped with dugouts and bullpens.

Baseball Field 1 (90-Foot Base Length)

Resident fee: $40 per 90-minute rental period
Non-resident fee: $80 per 90-minute rental period
Field lights fee: $20 per 90-minute rental period

Baseball Fields 2, 3 & 4 (60-Foot Base Length)

Resident fee: $35 per 90-minute rental period
Non-resident fee: $70 per 90-minute rental period
Field lights fee: $20 per 90-minute rental period

Striping

Field 1 fee: $15
Fields 2 and 3: $10 per field

Dragging / Raking

Field 1: $15
Fields 2 and 3: $10 per field

Scoreboard Use

Scoreboard controller deposit: $50
Scoreboard use fee: $10.
If the scoreboard is damaged beyond repair and requires replacement after use, an additional $600 fee will be applied to cover the replacement.

Ongoing Athletic Field Rentals

Ongoing athletic field rentals are defined as any reservation made on a consistent basis or four or more reservations made more than two weeks in advance. All ongoing rentals requests are based on field availability and may be requested using the ongoing field rental request form.

If ongoing field rental requests are approved by Parks and Recreation, each participating group must pay a $100 refundable deposit at the beginning of the rental season. Field rental fees for ongoing rentals are the same as shown above.

Inclement Weather / Lightning

The City of Leander reserves the right to cancel or suspend facility usage for games, practices and other events whenever field conditions could result in injury to players or spectators, or create the risk of damaging fields due to inclement weather. When lightning is detected within 12 miles of the facility, the complex will be considered closed for activity. The National Weather Service suggests that all personnel, athletes and spectators clear the fields and take shelter in a building or vehicle. The complex will not re-open until all lightning has cleared the 12-mile area for a period of 30 minutes. Parks and Recreation will make a good faith effort to provide prompt information to user groups when inclement weather and/or inclement weather delays could potentially impact a reservation. During inclement weather, Parks and Recreation personnel will communicate with appropriate tournament/event organizers.
