Criminal Investigations Division

The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) consists of Detectives who are charged with investigating those cases initiated from other Divisions where additional expertise or resources are required to bring a resolution to the investigation. Additionally, CID is charged with the direct responsibility of investigating major crime scenes, registering local sex offenders, juvenile cases, and evidence processing. The Criminal Investigation Division is under the command of Lieutenant Michel Mohler.

If you have further information on a case and would like to provide a written voluntary statement, please print and complete the Witness-Voluntary Statement Form (PDF). Be as specific as you can and fill in all blanks. Having the form complete, expedites the process. After you've completed the statement mail it to the department or have an officer come by and pick it up if you're within the city.
