The Leander Police Department's School Resource Officers (SRO) Program began in 1998. The program is a partnership between the police department and the Leander Independent School District.
The SRO frequently acts as the primary investigator for crimes occurring on the school campus and acts in a proactive manner helping to keep our schools safer for students and teachers. If you know of any child abuse contact one of our school resource officers.
Currently, the Leander Police Department has officers assigned to the Leander High School, Rouse High School, Glenn High School, and the Leander Extended Opportunity (LEO) Center. The SROs not only serve in the high schools, but also respond to the four middle schools and seven elementary schools when needed.
The following SROs are supervised by Sergeant Elizabeth Conrad.
