The intersection at South Street and West Street is offset. This project will assess and determine the best solutions to improve this intersection and the congestion along both South Street and West Drive. Relocation of utilities may also be required.
Intersection improvements should improve traffic safety and continuous vehicle flow, especially during the school year as Camacho Elementary and Leander Middle School are located just south of this area.

Amended - $765,500 for design and construction (2021)
Initial - $704,940 for design and construction (2019)

- February 7, 2019 - Design contract of $87,221 awarded to Binkley and Barfield.
