Intersection improvements at Bagdad Road and Sonny Drive include roadway reconstruction on Sonny Drive, culvert replacement, raised power lines, sidewalk and curb ramp construction, and installation of a traffic signal with pavement regrading and restriping.

Status Updates
- April 20, 2023 - This project is complete and the new signal and crosswalk are live.
- December 16, 2022 - The east intersection of Bagdad Road and Sonny Drive will be closed from Bagdad Road to Lantana Lane. Alternate traffic routes from Sonny Drive will go through Eagles Way, Honeysuckle Drive, Moon Glow Drive, and Coyote Lane. Drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians are urged to use caution though the marked construction zone.
