Books and Brews Book Club
Every 3rd Saturday meet and discuss the staff chosen book of the month. There are two meeting times available at 2 pm and 4 pm. Registration required through CivicRec. Check our online calendar for more information.

Grim Readers: A Dark Book Club
A book club for those with grim tastes. Chill your blood with dark fiction books and anything else that goes bump in the night! No registration required. Check our online calendar for more information.

Leander Readers Book Club
Join this online adult book club on Goodreads. Participation is voluntary and will take place only online. Visit the Leander Readers' Goodreads page for current discussions and upcoming books.
Members need to be 18 years or older to join. If you're not eighteen, (or if you just like to read YA) feel free to join our sister young adult book club, Literally Leander!
Nailed It! Holiday! Competition
For adults, ages 18+. Contestants will try their hand at re-creating an edible masterpiece. Whoever comes closest to a successful dessert by the end of the program takes home the coveted Leander Public Library "Nailed It" trophy. All supplies are provided!

Wrap and Yap Party
Don't spend a fortune on gift paper! Come to the library's Wrap and Yap Party to package your gifts with holiday wrapping donated by the Leander Police Department. You'll also get tons of wrapping tips from the library staff and fellow participants. Enjoy holiday music, hot cocoa, and company while you work!

Adult Journaling and Writing Club
A supportive and creative space for people to explore their interest in journaling and writing. The club will meet monthly in person, provide a variety of prompts and exercises to help people get started with journaling and writing, and offer feedback on members' work (optional). Puzzle Swap
Tired of piecing together old puzzles? Swap them out for new ones at the library's Puzzle Swap Party. Bring puzzles to take puzzles. Puzzles should be complete or note missing pieces. Check our online calendar for more information.
Sew and Stitch: A Quilting and Sewing Group
Join our quilting and fiber arts group for a Saturday afternoon of making, sharing, and socializing. This group is not just for quilters. SCORE Business Link
Connecting entrepreneurial Leander residents to helpful links and workshops. We've partnered with SCORE, the largest network of free volunteer small business mentors in the nation, to bring virtual workshops to the library. They also have their comprehensive Resource Library(link is external) complete with templates, e-guides, checklists, blogs, information graphics, videos, tools, and other materials made specifically for small business owners.
