Currently, Leander is in Phase 2 water conservation. Please note new watering days and times. Phase 2 of the updated ordinance limits landscape irrigation by automated systems, hose-end sprinklers, soaker hoses and drip irrigation to ONE DAY A WEEK from midnight to 7 a.m. or 7 p.m. to midnight based on the ending number of the address where your water meter is located. This applies to both residential and commercial properties.

If your RESIDENTIAL or COMMERCIAL address ends in

  • 2,4 — Water on Monday
  • 1,5 — Water on Tuesday
  • 6 — Water on Wednesday
  • 0 — Water on Thursday
  • 9 — Water on Friday
  • 8 — Water on Saturday
  • 3,7 — Water on Sunday

Under Phase 2, hand-held watering is allowed at any time as well as everyday water uses like drinking, bathing, and washing clothes and dishes. However, please conserve to keep water demands low.
